This year, Duo Concertante toured their program, Of This Place, to communities across Newfoundland. Featuring Tilting: On Water’s Edge alongside works by de Falla, Maier, Stravinsky, Janáček, Smetana, and Kelland, the program celebrated distinctive cultures and the land and seas that inspired them. Tour stops included The Beaches Centre in Eastport, the Garrick Theatre in Bonavista, Memorial United Church in Grand Falls-Windsor, and the Rotary Arts Centre in Corner Brook. A special highlight of the tour came in Corner Brook, where Tuckamore alumna Jessica Pereversoff (Young Artist Program, 2016) joined Nancy on stage for a selection of Bartók duos!
