Opening Night: Duo Concertante – At Water’s Edge WORLD PREMIERE

In the late-1980’s, Robert Mellin was a young architect researching the construction of houses, wharves and sheds in Tilting, Fogo Island, NL. The drawings, photos and interviews he compiled into an acclaimed book are now re-imagined by Duncan Major and Melissa Hui in Tilting: At Water’s Edge as an audiovisual journey featuring original music, animation, and stories told by Tilting’s own residents.

With works inspired by other homelands by Janacek, da Falla, and Stravinsky.
