DESCRIPTION:This programme for two pianos and percussion features three of the most beloved and popular works of the repertoire: Bernstein’s West Side Story\, an unsurpassed masterpiece of musical theatre; George Gershwin’s iconic American in Paris\, a romantic symphonic poem with jazzy undertones; and Mussorgsky’s stunningly original\, powerful and intense Pictures at an Exhibition.
