DESCRIPTION:The Tuckamore Faculty Trio\, comprised of the Duo Concertante (violinist Nancy Dahn and pianist Timothy Steeves) and Vernon Regehr\, cello\, have played together for almost two decades. This program features a newly discovered masterwork by the mega talent Clara Schumann\, a trio by the JUNO award winning Newfoundland composer Bekah Simms\, and Dvorak’s “Dumky” trio\, one of the most beloved and intensely spirited works for piano\, violin and cello. Certain to move the soul and delight the senses\, it will surely be a musical highlight of your summer. DESCRIPTION:The second leg of our 25th anniversary tour will be presented by the 2025 Tuckamore Festival Young Artist Trio. Each year\, one talented trio is given the opportunity to tour part of our province in the days immediately following the festival. This year\,  violinist Noor Rouhana\, cellist Isaac Mailach\, and pianist Lisa Santoprete will give eight performances throughout the Avalon peninsula (and a little beyond!). SUMMARY:Young Artist and Young Composer Alumni Celebration
DESCRIPTION:A special 25th anniversary concert celebrating the legacy of Tuckamore through some of its outstanding performer and composer alumni. We asked alumni Arlan Vriens (violin) and Emma Schmiedecke (cello) to curate a program spotlighting music by alumni of the Tuckamore Festival’s Young Composer program.
