St. John’s, NL native Danielle Greene received her BMus (honors) from the University of Toronto, under the tutelage of Toronto Symphony’s Concertmaster, Jonathan Crow. She also holds an Artist Diploma Student from The Glenn Gould School of The Royal Conservatory, studying with Barry Shiffman and Erika Raum. Danielle has served as Concertmaster for numerous orchestras, including the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, and has played under the baton of many world-renowned conductors including; Leon Fleisher, Gábor Takács-Nagy, and Johannes Debus.
Danielle and her string quartet were the 2018 winners of the Glenn Gould School Chamber Music Competition, and in 2016, Ms. Greene was the winner of the University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition. Danielle has performed at many prestigious venues, including Koerner Hall, Maison Symphonique, the University of Toronto President’s Residence, and Palacio da Foz in Lisbon, Portugal. In 2011, Danielle performed as a featured soloist with the National Arts Centre Orchestra during their Atlantic Tour, and she is a past member of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra.
