Raman had the honor and privilege of being the first Indian Flautist to be featured in the Oklahoma symphony orchestra in 2019 Raman was also instrumental in collaborating with his disciple Mr Ram Mallappa to produce the first ever 3D printed Carnatic Flute , Raman has written two books on Carnatic flute training Raman also hold the record for recording over 500 ragas at around 500 various locations of the world .
Raman is a featured artist in the “Miles from India” tour & performs with legends Glen Velez ( Grammy Winner ) Dave Liebman ( Grammy Winner ),,Mandolin Shrinivas, Selvaganesh (Remember Shakti), Darryl Jones (Rolling Stones), John Beasley (Finding Nemo,) and has performed at the Montreal Jazz Festival, San Francisco Jazz Festival & Miles from India fest at Paris. Raman has performed with Indian music Legends like Dr M. Balamuralikrishna, Dr N. Ramani, Pt Vishwamohan Bhatt ( Grammy Winner ), Ustad Shahid Pervez , Vikku Vinaykram ( Grammy Winner ) Pt Anindo Chatterjee , Nikhil Ghosh , A.K Palanivel & has also been touring as a special guest with the legendary Singer & Guinness record holder K.J Yesudas. Raman’s accompaniment for Martha Graham’s documentary “ The Flute of Krishna has been appreciated globally and his Meditation music youtube videos have been very popular and more than 300,000 views. Raman apart from performing Carnatic Solo , Jugalbandhi , Jazz , contemporary world music is a pioneer in creating new genres such as music for deep meditation and Bollywood jazz.
Raman is the founder president of Indo American Academy of Classical Music, an organization dedicated to propagating Classical music .

Raman, with the mission to promote carnatic music education  has founded the carnatic lessons.com website which is  very popular globally with thousands of subscribers and is the first carnatic flutist to launch an app for his Carnatic lessons & concerts which is available as a free download.

Raman is also the founder president of the na-mama foundation, a non-profit organization to do charity through arts.
