Applications are now open.
The Tuckamore Festival’s 2019 Young Artist Program runs from August 5-18, 2019. For more details, download our e-brochure!
All application packages must be clearly labeled and submitted or postmarked by February 15, 2019. Application packages must include:
- 2019 online application form (click to complete)
- signed letter of recommendation
- a one-page resumé, outlining your musical accomplishments to date
- current audio/video recording with a minimum of two contrasting works
- Non-refundable $30 application fee, payable by cheque or credit card
How to submit your application online:
Your application package must include a signed letter of recommendation from a teacher or music professional who knows you and can attest to your suitability for the Tuckamore Festival Young Artist program. They can e-mail the festival directly, or you can send on their behalf, to email@example.com
You must also include a short musical resumé outlining your musical accomplishments, a maximum of two pages to describe your musical education, any degrees or certificates you’ve been awarded, prizes or accolades. Please e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
We will also need an audio or video recording with a minimum of two contrasting works. Your audition recordings can be uploaded as a private Youtube video, or to Dropbox or Google Drive. You can provide the secure links to your audition material in the space provided above on the online application form. Remember to label each track/file with your first and last name, composer, work and movement.
Finally, we require payment of a $30 non-refundable application fee to secure your application. Our preferred method is by e-transfer to email@example.com. You can also send a cheque (ensure it is mailed on or before February 15, 2019) or call the office directly at 709-330-4599 to arrange a credit card payment.
Application packages can also be submitted by mail.
